Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: after the funding time to close the Shield Therapeutics short?

The Greek Hovel olive harvest is done and I am soon off to the press. Phew. In today’s podcast I discuss Shield Therapeutics (STX), FinnCap (FCAP) and Argo Blockchain (ARB

Evil Banksta says I got my Shield numbers wrong – but he still thinks it’s screwed

I plead guilty. I recorded the bearcast HERE the other day when I was ill and so marginally delirious so I may have erred when it comes to Shield Therapeutics (STX). Evil Banksta is kind enough to assist me with my maths and he writes:

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Family tales

I start with the reason for no bearcast yesterday and end with my virtue signalling siblings lining up to be mugged. In between I look at Strix (KETL), Argo Blockchain (ARB), Chill Brands (CHILL), Cellular Goods (CBX) and the CBD pain myth exposed and also at Tomco (TOM) and Shield Therapeutics (STX) where I sense PL will be apologising to the master soon.

Shield Therapeutics – tick tock …36 days to tits up alley ( or is it just 21 days?)

On 1 August 2022, having failed to raise $30 million in an equity markets fundraise – as I warred here to hoots of derision from BBMs sitting in their underpants in their parent’s basement – , Shield Therapeutics (STX) took out a $10 million loan from 13% shareholder AOP Orphan International AG. Now the clock is ticking on that loan.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: NO I am not being naughty but YES I disagree with three brains

In today’s podcast I discuss  BSF Enterprise (BSAF), Vast Respources (VAST), nanosynth (NNN), Shield Therapeutics (STX) and Imperial Brands (IMB) where I dare to challenge three brains himself, his mind clearly damaged by NEVER smoking, drinking or taking drugs.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast - so when will musicMagpie 'fess to the bad news?

I start on if I could, why I would short an opticians chain. I think the answer is I can’t  but I explain why I would like to. Then it is onto musicMagpie (MMAG), the fraud that is Supply@ME Capital (SYME), Shield Thereapeutics (STX) – today’s lesson in insanity – and Ben’s Creek (BEN) and disgraced Adam Wilson.

Shield Therapeutics – failure rewarded and interests unaligned

Greg Madison was appointed as CEO of Shield Therapeutics (STX) on June 1 2021. The shares were then 60p. Today they are 8p. In just over a year Greg has presided over a catastrophic 87% destruction of shareholder value. Luckily Greg had no shares himself just a stack of options granted to him two weeks after he joined, to incentivise him.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast – Back at 3.30 AM from the Northern Ireland game

I share a few thoughts with you – truths one cannot say in public – about the game last night. Notwithstanding that, I enjoyed the match, and the Northern Ireland girls held their heads up. Then, I discuss Canadian Overseas Petroleum (COPL), explaining my Christmas sub-10p target – the shares really will halve from here. I look at Shield Therapeutics (STX), MGC Pharmaceuticals (MXC), and Science in Sport (SIS) which, at every level, looks a stinker – even after today’s 22% fall, the shares are grotesquely overvalued. I explain why. Finally, I describe why Malcolm should have learned from IQE (IQE) before continuing to tip Zoo Digital (ZOO) - as he has again done, today.

Shield Therapeutics – how utterly screwed it is

The first cut is the least painful. That is to say, selling when it is clear a company is fecked, is less painful than waiting to sell in such circumstances. The document today published by Shield (STX) shows just how fecked it is.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: The best time to kick a man is when he is down - Shield and Cineworld

I start with a few family reflections on my family and World War One. Then it is onto Optibiotix (OPTI) and misguided suggestions that regime change is needed. Finally I reflect on Evil Knievil’s catch phrase with reference to Cineworld (CINE) but more especially Shield Therapeutics (STX)

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: V is for Vindication (Kefi, Verditek, Shield and the list today goes on and on)

In today’s podcast I look at Optibiotix (OPTI) where I bought more shares today, Kefi Gold & Copper (Kefi), Guild ESports (GILD) asking if it and David Beckham are breaking up, Nanosynth (NNN), the shysters at Verditek (VDTK) and Shield Therapeutics (STX). It is definately ouzo, or rather elderflower champagne, for supper tonight.

100% Vindication for @TomWinnifrith: Shield Therapeutics admits to failed $30m placing, gets bailout loan but will still be bust by Christmas

Oh dear, oh dear, this is truly awful and explains why results which normally come out late April came out on deadline day today. Shield Therapeutics (STX) is in a mess as I warned so often. Ouzo for me. Cabbage water for those who ignored my explicit warnings and trolled and abused me instead.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: More Marginitis for proven liar John Story? Is he up the Ben's Creek without a paddle?

In today’s podcast I look at Eurasia Mining (EUA), Powerhouse Energy (PHE), Shield Therapeutics (STX), Simec Atlantic (SAE) and Ben’s Creek (BEN) and John Story of Chill Brands (CHLL) and Cellular Goods (CBX) infamy.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Cliff Weight of ShareSoc, the High Class Eastern European hooker, Mark Slater & our bet

I am not suggesting anything inappropriate just making an analogy as I discuss Zephyr Energy (ZPHR). I then discuss Optibiotix (OPTI) and a chat with Steve O’Hara. If you want to spend a day with Steve over all day drink and home produced Welsh food you can of course do so HERE where, I am happy to say, that almost a third of the seats are already booked out. Then it is onto Oxford Biodynamics (OBD) and Shield Therapeutics (STX) – will its placing be at 5p or not at all?.  Then onto Pennon (PNN), sewage and Feargal Sharkey. Finally Abingdon Diagnostics (ABDX) where good news today has seen the shares rocket but that only postpones the next bailout placing ( or death) until Advent.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: the shock 6.22 PM death of 4D Pharma - lessons everyone can learn

At 6.22 PM yesterday evening, 4D Pharma announced the reason for its “temporary” share suspension. It wasn’t a messy and discounted placing, as I suggested here, but administration. Shareholders will, I fear, lose everything. I discuss who is to blame, what can be done (nothing) and the read-across to a raft of other stocks that could go the same way, including Shield Therapeutics (STX), Cineworld (CINE), Petropavlovsk (POG), Verditek (VDTK) and more.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: I should have stayed with the young mums

But instead, I left a birthday party to record this. Such dedication. I start on why Nigel’s Barkby (BARK) piece was wrong.  Then, I look at Shield Therapeutics (STX), Kefi Gold & Copper (KEFI), Naked Wine (WINE), Nostra Terra Oil & Gas (NTOG) and Trainline (TRN).

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Shield Therapeutics or Verditek - which sees a share price collapse first?

I start with my wonderful son, Joshua, losing every race at Sports Day with bravery and humour. Then, onto UK Network Agency; Innovation Agri-Tech; Eden Pharma; the wretched FCA’s failure on £65 million fraud, Appbox Media/One True View; Ocado (OCDO); Morses Club (MCL); Cake Box (CBOX) – where Steve is wrong; Verditek (VDTK); and Shield Therapeutics (STX).

Each morning, I am disappointed by Shield Therapeutics

On February 18, I generated industrial-scale abuse (of me) from anonymous internet warriors. All I did was suggest Shield Therapeutics (STX) as a slam-dunk short, at 25.5p.  The savants insisted, as is usually the case in such circumstances, that I didn’t understand the maths, and should go back to working in a pizza store, etc, etc, etc. The shares are now just 14.6p, and the final collapse is almost upon us. Add to your shorts. Let me explain.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Time to double up on the Shield Therapeutics final collapse, the money's almost all gone!

On 18 February, at 25.5p to sell, the big bear call was greeted with abuse from BB savants, who, unsurprisingly, always know better.  Shares in Shield (STX) are now 14.6p, and the final collapse to c. 5p is now set to begin. Double up on your shorts.  In this podcast, I discuss Argo Blockchain (ARB); Nostra Terra Oil & Gas (NTOG) and its unsavoury CEO, Matt Lofgran – praise be the Lord; then, I look at Genflow Biosciences (GENF), as its shares continue to tank; Challenger Energy (CHAL); Eurasia Mining (EUA); and Petropavlovsk (POG), where the target remains 0p.  Finally, I remind you that Rogue Bloggers for Woodlarks is just 4 days away, and we are at 34% of the target. If among the 92% of listeners yet to donate, do give a fiver (or a tenner), HERE.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: How to play Ukraine and what to believe about what is happening? A detailed rebuttal of my Shield critics and THE crypto short

I start with some thoughts on Ukraine and Russia which some of you may disagree with. Perhaps what is happening there will be a handy excuse for Eurasia Mining (EUA) to ‘fess up to the lack of bid? Then onto how bitcoin and other cryptos are faring as a safe haven right now. And why that makes Argo Blockchain (ARB) such a monumental sell. It could utterly implode. I see that more than 25% of posts on the ADVFN Bulletn Board,a few hours ago, were on Shield Therapeutics (STX) with nearly all of them slating me for all the usual reasons. I do not play the man here even though my critics do seem to have the collective IQ of a Cheese sandwich, but the ball and answer each of the bull points made to rebut my bear thesis in turn.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: Did those pictures of Darren & his Mrs at the Ottawa LGBTQA+ on Eid day parade do the trick?

If this podcast arrives too late they did not.  All is explained in the actual recording brought to you frmthe land of the bedwetters, Wales, as there is abit of wind and rain. In the Bearcast I look at Shield Therapeutics (STX) – a stand out short where the share price collapse is only just starting – UK Oil & Gas (UKOG), Oxford Cannabinoid (OCTP) and the fraud Supply@ME Capital (SYME).

BREAKING: Shield Therapeutics IS the next Omega, a short at 25.5p - target 5.5p

Shield Therapeutics (STX) has the status Omega Diagnostics (ODX) once had as a darling of the Bulletin Board savants. And like Omega was this company is heading for a cash crisis and its shares will tank by 80%. Though this will enrage a shareholder base with the collective IQ of a cheese sandwich, the shares are a stand out short at 25.5p with a 5.5p target.  Chaps and gals, before you start the hate attacks on me learn from the Omega debacle HERE. Now as to why Shield shares will collapse, here’s why.

Tom Winnifrith Bearcast: A Tired Philadelphia Eagles fan - why did I bother waking up?

For reasons mainly to do with girls (well two of them) I have always been a Philadelphia Eagles fan. The last time they won a championship, Hurst, Peters and Moore were playing for West Ham - the two teams have a lot in common. Anyhow I stayed up late and for once fortune is not always hiding. Why did I get up? The market is a sea of red and I discuss that. I look at IQE (IQE) after chatting to Matt Earl, at Woodford Patient Capital Trust (WPCT), Inspirit (INSP) and at Shield Therapeutics (STX). Nomates Neil Woodford has not replied to my polite invitation of yesterday
